Wedding Invitation Layout

I finally received the wedding invitation yesterday from the mother of the groom.. We are trying secretively to gather stuff that they are planning for the wedding so I can finish the album. Its supposed to be a big surprise for the bride, as well as the groom..

I cut the flowers using my cricut and george cart, title was used with Opposites Attract and the leaves using Accent Essentials. Stickled the leaves and flowers.

My grandmother and I

My grandmother passed away 4.5yrs ago. I 've had this picture hidden away for over 4 yrs. Today, I decided I was ready to make a layout with it.. I got teary lots of times in the making of this LO, but I am finally finished and very happy with..

I used AE for the flowers and leaves, George for the sign letters and DC for the basket.

Mummoni kuoli 4.5 vuotta sitten. Pistin tämän kuvan silloin pois laatikkoon kun oli niin vaikeeta katsoo sitä. Nyt ajattelin että on hyvä aika tehdä siitä layoutti.

Luulisin että mummoni tykkäisi tästä. Olimme tosi läheisiä.

Challenge #49/Haaste #49

Obsession or Addiction? That is the million dollar question..Topic of challenge was ADDICTION. I know I hit the nail of the head with this one.. I am very addicted to coffee.. during the making of this layout, I must have drank 6-8 cups of coffee..LOL

I used a lot of carts for this LO including george, christmas cheer, accent essentials and doodlecharms. I had fun making this LO. It will be framed and put on my kitchen wall.

this ís the card that I made for challenge #51

I really wanted to make an easter card since it is that time of the year. I cut the bunnies(1.5") basket(2") and eggs (1.5") with doodlecharms cart. the ribbon is paper that I hand cut and then finally added lime green and pink stickle to finish it all off..

its not my best work, but I'm happy :D

Flower girl/morsiustyttö

Another Layout done for the wedding album I am working on. I spent 4 days making it. I have been working a lot this week, so I haven't had much time to work on the album.

I used the new cart I received (accent essentials) making the swirls, flowers and leaves. I also used George and Opposites attract for the title.. I stickled the name (Linnea- she is aged 4yrs old) so it would stand out more. I bought some butterflies from my neighborhood craft store and thought they would look nice on the layout.
The papers I used are very thin silk type and have a shiny surface, so they were kind of hard to work with.

I also made some swirls using pink colored wire and added some jade crystal brads for the centers of the flowers.. The picture makes it seem darker than it really is. These are all very soft pastel colors.. pink, green and cream.

Tässä Layout minun kaverini hää albuumiin. Olen ollut paljon tällä viikolla töissä ja ei ole ollut paljon aikaa askarella. Käytin ohutta kiiltävää paperia (värit vaaleanpunainen, vaaleanvihreaä ja kerma) minkä ostin Sinellistä. kuviot (kukat, lehdet ja kiekurat) olen leikannut Provon Cricutilla. Perhoset ja vaaleanpunaisen vaijerin ostin Tiimarista. Kuvat ovat tummempia kun oikeasti, mutta pienestä kuvasta missä perhosia näkee oikeat värit..pehmeät!
